Sam Thompson is set to return to screens on Made in Chelsea when the show’s 18th series airs next month.
Sam, 26, quit the show after six years and did not appear on the latest series of the London-based reality series following his split from his co-star, Sophie Habboo.
However, he is now set for a return, with his new girlfriend reportedly Zara McDermott in tow.
According to Mail Online, Love Island star Zara will appear on the show, but her exact involvement is yet to be determined.
The publication reports that the 22 year old – who split from Adam Collard earlier this year – will star in at least one episode.
The next series of the hit show will see Sam come face-to-face with his close pal Jamie Laing, who is currently dating his ex, Sophie. MIC viewers watched the pair get together at the end of the 17th season.
Sam recently spoke to OK! online about the situation between the three. He said: “Honestly, I was only going out with her for a very short amount of time.
“I think that… it’s a whole Made in Chelsea thing, it’s not to do with me.
“My name keeps getting brought up though, I was getting Google alerts about it… I haven’t even said anything about it either, as I don’t really think there’s much to say on my part.”
He added: “It’s got nothing really to do with me.”
Zara and Sam are going from strength to strength and he says that he’s fed up of being brought up when it comes to the rumoured rift.
When asked if it bothers him having his name dragged into things, Sam responded: “Yes, because I’m focusing on so many other things.
“What’s annoying is when you get a Tweet from somebody saying ‘please, just let them be together!’ – I haven’t said anything!
“I think what happens is, when people feel slightly guilty about what they’re doing, like ‘oh we shouldn’t, forbidden love…’ – but no, by all means ,do it!”
Sam and Zara recently returned from a loved-up holiday to Italy.
Sharing a picture of herself and her beau on her Instagram, Zara gushed: “I love you so much.”
